Suryodaya Haveli is a reflection of the spirit of the holy city of Varanasi. Its prime location (on the river front) ensures a rewarding view of the Ganges and the rituals being performed on the ghats (river banks). The Haveli traces its history back to the early 20th century. It was built by the Royal Family of Nepal as a retreat for the aged. It is now been painstakingly put together again to provide the best ghat experience in Benaras. Your stay begins with a 15 minute boat ride upstream along the famous ghats of Benaras to reach the Haveli. The Haveli is also connected by small alleys and streets leading to the Famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple (15 minute walk). Suryauday Haveli comprises of 01 river facing master suite, 08 river facing rooms and 5 en-suites, each fitted with an attached bath, air-conditioning, direct dial telephones and cable television.The visitors can feast on a delectable spread of vegetarian food. There is no fixed menu on offer. The in house cook decides what to serve to the guests and each day he comes up with culinary surprises from across the Indian subcontinent.
