Devra means the abode of the Gods. The Devra property is home to a 400 years old temple. The house itself is built in the quaint colonial style and is situated on top of a hillock in the lap of the Aravali hills. It overlooks the city of Udaipur and offers grand panoramic views of the city environs, once the scene of many a hunt and battle. There is a mix of double bed rooms and twin bed rooms, each with a unique personality with amenities that include air-conditioning, electric kettles, running hot & cold water, handpicked furniture, linens and contemporary art pieces. All the rooms have large bay windows, beautiful common spaces, patios with easy chairs, courtyards with lily ponds, and living rooms that open up on three sides, where you can read, paint, contemplate, or have a leisurely tea, all this while enjoying the feeling of being outdoors.
