This tour programme explores the Royal Kingdom of Bhutan - Land of supernatural legends, ancient monastery-fortresses, and, amid valley jungles and terraced hillside, a colourful Tibetan-like people who preserve a timeless culture and traditions.

       Outline Itinerary

• Day 1 Delhi/Paro - Morning fly to Paro. Assistance on arrival & transfer to Hotel. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
   
• Day 2 Paro - Thimphu - Morning drive to Thimphu. En route visiting Drukgyel Dzong and driving past Kyichu Lhakhang, Taktsang (Tiger’s Lair) Geompha. Afternoon sightseeing of Thimpu visit Ta Dzong.
   
• Day 3 Thimphu - Morning visit the Bazaar, the Memorial Chorten, The Painting School, Traditional Medicine Institute, the Handicrafts Emporium and finally the Tashichozong. Afternoon leisurely walk up the Norzing Lam. 
   
• Day 4 Thimphu - Dochula - Paro - Morning excursion to Dochula, for a view of the magical environs and northern peaks. Afternoon drive back to Paro.
   
• Day 5 Paro/Departure - Morning transfer to airport flight back to Delhi.

             Note - It is also possible to fly into Bhutan from Bangkok, Calcutta, Kathmandu.
