Overview

Este tour combina todo lo mejor del subcontinente y se adapta perfectamente para la primera vez del visitante, ya que no es de larga duración. El famoso Triángulo Dorado de la India de Delhi, Agra y Jaipur no necesita presentación - aquí nos encontramos con el Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri y el impresionante Fuerte de Amber, nombres que hacen eco de la antigua gloria de los reinados Mughal y Rajput y que forman la esencia del tour.


Day 1 - Llegada a Delhi

Un representante de Royal Expeditions le recibirá a su llegada en el aeropuerto internacional. Recepción en el aeropuerto y traslado al hotel. Registro en el hotel.

Day 2 - Delhi

Después del desayuno en el hotel, disfrutará de todo el día por la ciudad, combinando Old Delhi y New Delhi. En primer lugar, visitará el Red Fort (cerrado los lunes), construido con arenisca roja por el Emperador Mughal Shahjahan y la Jama Masjid, la mezquita más grande de la India. Luego visitará los famosos bazares de Chandni Chowk y el Raj Ghat, lugar donde fue la incineración de Mahatma Gandhi.
 
Continuará con “India Gate” (la puerta de la India), construida en memoria de los soldados que dieron sus vidas en la primera guerra mundial, situada en frente de la casa del presidente Rashtrapathi Bhawan. Verá la casa del Parlamento, otros edificios del gobierno, la tumba y mausoleo del emperador Humayun y Qutub Minar, monumento declarado por la UNESCO Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Disfrutara de la cena en el restaurante de Chor Bizarre en Nueva Delhi.

Day 3 - Delhi / Jaipur

Desayuno. Por la mañana, salida hacia Jaipur por carretera. Hoy disfrutará de una fascinante comida en un antiguo palacio (Samode Palace). Jaipur, conocida como la ciudad rosa por el color de sus casas, es la capital del estado de Rajasthan (antes llamado Rajputana, tierra de los rajputs), construida en el siglo XVIII por el maharajá Jai Singh II, del que recibe su nombre (la ciudad de Jai); la terminación "pur" indica ciudad de origen hindú a diferencia de la terminación "ad" que indica ciudad árabe. 

 

Por la tarde, salida para conocer un templo Hinduista, donde podrá apreciar la ceremonia AARTI. Tras la ceremonia, traslado al Palacio Narain Niwas para cenar y asistir a un show de bailes típicos de Rajasthan. Regreso al hotel.

Day 4 - Jaipur

Después del desayuno, visita al Fuerte de Amber, con la oportunidad de acceder a la entrada del fuerte a lomos de un elefante. Amber, fue capital del estado hasta 1728, otra joya de la arquitectura indo-musulmana. Descubrirá el Jai Mandir o "Hall de la Gloria" con sus espejos esplendidos, el Jai Mahal, el templo de Kali y los kilómetros de muralla que se unen con el relieve de las colinas. Después vuelta a Jaipur.
 
Por la tarde visita de la ciudad de Jaipur, incluyendo el Palacio Imperial, el observatorio y los bazares.  
Por la noche asistirá a un Show de luces y sonidos (realizado en inglés), en la ciudad de Amer, durante el cual disfrutará de las leyendas, folclore y música tradicional de la India. Regreso al hotel.

Day 5 - Jaipur / Agra

Salida por carretera hacia Agra. En el camino hacia Agra se detendrá por la mañana en la ciudad fantasma de Fatehpur Sikri, a 40 km al Oeste de Agra. Antigua capital que fue construida por el emperador Akbar en el año 1659 y más tarde abandonada a causa de la falta de agua. Después continuará hasta Agra para posteriormente trasladarse al hotel.

Day 6 - Agra

Por la mañana visita del Taj Mahal. Con su simplicidad arquitectónica, perfecto equilibrio y proporción de estructura, el Taj Mahal es quizás el edificio más bello del mundo. A continuación visitará en profundidad el fuerte de Agra, donde podrá ver los salones de audiencias públicas y privadas, para luego finalizar con la tumba de Itmad-ud-Daullah, construida por la emperatriz Noorjehan en memoria de su padre.

Day 7 - Agra / Delhi / Salida

Tras el desayuno, salida de Agra hacia Nueva Delhi por carretera. Día libre hasta la salida del avión. Traslado al aeropuerto internacional para llegar en hora a su vuelo internacional.

El Taj Mahal permanece cerrado los viernes. Los otros monumentos en Agra permanecen abiertos a lo largo de la semana.

Hotel Jaypee Palace

The Imperial

From the time The Imperial opened its doors in the 1930s, when India was beginning to write the last chapters of its saga on independence, there was little space in New Delhi for an Indo- British rubbing of shoulders. Pandit Nehru, Mahatama Gandhi, Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Lord Mountbatten would meet at The Imperial to discuss the partition of India and creation of Pakistan.The Nehru family had a permanent suite here.
