Day 1 - Arrival/Delhi

You will be met on arrival and transferred to Hotel.

Overnight at Oberoi Trident 5*

New Delhi:  An excellent starting point for exploring North India, not only because of its ample transport connections and sophisticated infrastructure, but because the history of Delhi, one of the oldest cities in the world, is essentially the history of India. The city is littered with crumbling tombs and ruins, most of which are not even on the tourist map.

Day 2 - Delhi/Jabalpur/Bandhavgarh

Morning transfer to airport to fly to Jabalpur upon arrival road transfer ( 3.5 to 4 hrs ) in air conditioned comfortable private Vehicle to Mahua Kothi Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge

Bandhavgarh National Park:One of India’s most beautiful reserves. As it has densities of tiger, it is a prime destination for viewing tigers.

Fauna: 37 species of mammals, including tiger, leopard, chital (spotted deer), sambar deer, nilgai, wild boar, chinkara, sloth bear, rhesus macaque, grey langur, jungle cat, hyena, porcupine, jackal, fox and wild dog. It is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with more than 250 types of birds and 70 different butterflies. 

Activities : Daily game drives in an open 4x4 safari vehicle; Guided nature walks; Tiger viewing from elephant back  - This activity is dependent on the National Park  by which it is run and generally only takes place in the early mornings. 

Lodge : Mahua Kothi  is set in 40 acres of forest and is co-owned by the Taj Luxury Hotel Chain and & Beyond high end African Safari Group. It has 12 gorgeous village-style kutiyas, or mud-walled suites: each harmoniously located within the forested setting. Day 6 - Bandhavgarh/Kanha

 Kanha National Park : Prime tiger wilderness, Kanha National Park was one of the first areas to be protected under Project Tiger is one of India’s largest national parks and is renowned not only for its high tiger concentration, but as the last remaining habitat of the hard ground barasingha, or swamp deer
 
 Flora & Fauna :  Kanha national park has 22 species of mammals. Those most easily spotted are TIGER, Indian hare, Indian wild dog, the Stripped Palm Squirrel, Common langur, Jackal, Wild Pig, Chital or Spotless deer, Barasingha or Swamp deer, Sambar and black Buck.Patient watching should reward the visitor, with a sight of Indian Fox, Sloth bear, Striped hyena, Jungle cut, Lepord, Mouse Deer, Chausingha or four horned antelope, Nilgai, Ratel and Porcupine.Kanha National Park is home to over 200 species of flowering plants.

Day 10 - Kanha / Pench

Morning road transfer ( 4-4.5 hrs ) in air conditioned comfortable private vehicle to Taj &Beyond Baghvan Jungle Lodge, Pench National Park 

Pench National Park :  Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighbourhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling's most famous work, The Jungle Book.

Wildlife:The park is very rich in wildlife and a number of endangered species make it their home. Apart from the magnificent tiger, Pench has large numbers of wild pig, nilgai, chital, muntjac, gaur and four horned antelope. Leopard, sloth bear, wild dog, porcupine, jungle cat, fox and striped hyena also make an appearance.

Lodge:The twelve charming stand alone suites have a contemporary bungalow feel with a cheeky 50’s ambience, with contrasting hues of copper and pale turquoise. The spacious suites comprise two inter-linked buildings. A covered inter-leading link takes guests to generously proportioned bathrooms with twin hand basins, separate w.c, and indoor and outdoor showers. Trident Gurgaon

 Trident Gurgaon is a five star hotel for business as well as leisure travelers. It is conveniently located and is about 15 minutes drive from the International airport on the Delhi to Jaipur highway. 25 minutes drive from downtown New Delhi. Set in seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the hotel has an imposing yet serene presence, a resort-like ambience. It is characterised by domes, long walkways, inner courtyards, reflection pools and fountains. The hotel has 136 rooms, which include a Presidential suite and six Executive suites, overlooking the garden, courtyards and pools.


Mahua Kothi

Mahua Kothi is the first of five Taj Safari Lodges .The accommodation and facilities of the lodge blend charmingly into the quaint and rustic surroundings. The name Mahua Kothi draws inspiration from one of India’s most beautiful trees, the Madhuca Indica, or as it is commonly known, the Mahua or butter tree. 


Banjar Tola

Taj Safaris’ third jungle safari lodge is situated along the banks of the Banjaar River, directly overlooking the heart of Kanha National Park. The luxurious, yet lightweight, ensuite tents have been designed in a contemporary style, with pressed bamboo wall panels, gorgeous bamboo floors and locally crafted furniture hewn from the timber of exotic Indian trees. Interiors showcase block-printed cottons and silks that are typical of Madhya Pradesh. Each suite  features a private deck overlooking the river, plus a swimming pool. The atmosphere is light, ethereal and organic.


Baghvan

Baghvan is the second lodge introduced by Taj. This charming lodge is located on the edge of Pench National Park, which is dominated by hills, forests and valleys. The lodge comprises twelve charming stand alone suites with beautiful rooftop terraces. Baghvan is aptly named after one of India’s iconic symbols, the Royal Bengal tiger (Bagh – Tiger and Van – forest).This grand jungle lodge has featured in the Conde Nast Traveler, UK 2009 list of the Best Hotels in Asia in the Best Facilities category
