Note

Kamha Park encompasses nearly 2000 sq kms of decidous forest, grassland, hills and gently meandering streams. It has sometimes been called the "N'Gorongoro" of India, The simile is apt, though Kanha is far greener and its cordon of hills far more densely wooded. It is also the only habitat of the endangered hardground Barasingha ( Swamp deer ). The Indian Bison or the The Gaur can also be spotted here. It is rich in fauna and avifauna, a birding paradise.

Trident Gurgaon is a five star hotel for business as well as leisure travelers. It is conveniently located and is about 15 minutes drive from the International airport on the Delhi to Jaipur highway. 25 minutes drive from downtown New Delhi. Set in seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the hotel has an imposing yet serene presence, a resort-like ambience. It is characterised by domes, long walkways, inner courtyards, reflection pools and fountains. The hotel has 136 rooms, which include a Presidential suite and six Executive suites, overlooking the garden, courtyards and pools.

Banjar Tola

Taj Safaris’ third jungle safari lodge is situated along the banks of the Banjaar River, directly overlooking the heart of Kanha National Park. The luxurious, yet lightweight, ensuite tents have been designed in a contemporary style, with pressed bamboo wall panels, gorgeous bamboo floors and locally crafted furniture hewn from the timber of exotic Indian trees. Interiors showcase block-printed cottons and silks that are typical of Madhya Pradesh. Each suite  features a private deck overlooking the river, plus a swimming pool. The atmosphere is light, ethereal and organic.

Kanha Earth Lodge

Kanha Earth Lodge lies in 16 acres of natural forest, tucked away in a small hamlet bordering Kanha’s buffer zone. Its unique location, 30 minutes from the Khatia/Kisli park gate, ensures that it is close enough for easy access to the park, but still far enough from the glut of hotels lining Kanha’s tourist hub to offer guests a true wilderness experience. Our guests benefit from our incredible location, outstanding hospitality, experienced team of naturalists, and commitment towards conservation and local communities. The 12 luxury bungalows with en suite bathrooms and open verandahs have been inspired by Gond tribal architecture and offer environmentally sensitive, low-impact accommodation through their design and use of local stone and waste wood, while the absence of neighbouring lodges or highways creates an ideal setting for nature walks, birding and cycling trips through the surrounding forest.
